These terms cover Happtix Games player accounts, the games.happtix.com website and Shard Surfer. Game-specific terms, where provided, may add details for another game.

Who operates Happtix Games?

Happtix Limited, registered in England and Wales with company number 17460263. Registered office: 8 Kempton Close, Runcorn, England, WA7 4YZ. Contact support@happtix.com.

Playing and accounts

You can play Shard Surfer without registering. An optional account links your player and supported online records across Happtix games. Use an email address you are authorised to use, keep sign-in links and codes private, and do not access someone else’s account.

Young players should ask a parent or carer for help with accounts and these terms. This does not replace any rights or protections that apply to children.

Fair play and public names

Public scores use generated nicknames. Your account name is separate. Do not use hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or harassing names, impersonate others, or publish anyone’s private details. Do not manipulate scores, exploit the account system or deliberately disrupt the service.

We may correct or remove inappropriate names or invalid scores, and restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse or security issues. Contact support if you think a decision was mistaken. You can report concerns through our support page.

Game content and availability

Game artwork, code, music and branding belong to their respective owners. You may play for your personal entertainment. Third-party software remains subject to its own licences. These terms do not restrict uses allowed by law.

Games may change as we improve them. Online services can be interrupted and local progress can be lost if device data is cleared. We do not promise that a game, online feature or leaderboard will remain available indefinitely. We take reasonable care with the service and will explain material changes where reasonably practicable.

Privacy and leaving

Our privacy notice explains account, gameplay and website data. You can stop playing at any time. See account deletion instructions to remove your shared player account and linked records.

Your rights

Nothing here excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain mandatory protections under the law of their country of residence and access to courts available under applicable law.
